Lt Belenko Posted May 15, 2011 Share Posted May 15, 2011 I had a mouse driver issue way back in CMSF. Every time the cursor would change when mousing over a unit the entire screen went black. It was a mouse driver issue. Check your mouse drivers. That was a different machine then I'm using now. Actually recently just received the newest driver through windows update. Mouse works fine in other programs and even within the menus of the game, just not in gameplay. I tried all locations I tried both my own document directory, the admin's document directory, and also the program directory. All installs had the same results. To be honest, I am baffled as to why admin mode corrected it for me. But their is no doubt it did. If I take it off, I get the old issues again. With it on, everything works perfectly.
