What Windows (assuming that you're on a PC) version are you running ? What video card and drivers do you have installed ? Is this occuring in a PBEM, solitaire or TCP/IP play ? While this issue can be caused by a faulty internal clock in some PC's (which is why he asked if you had a Dell or Sony above), it can also be triggered by certain Instant Messenger software.
