Will we ever see the commanders patched into BMPs?

I post this after witnessing for the nth time how frustrating BMPs are to use...You deploy them in nice ambush positions only to look as a Hummvee parks right infront of it for 30 seconds with it's side exposed, spots it and nails it with it's .50 cal...If only the commander was in his vehicle calling targets!

Please give us the missing 3rd crewmember on BMPs so they're not blind like this, it's not fun at all. Right now they're just a terrible waste because they can't spot effectively. :(

According to the textbook, squad commander must dismount with the squad. AFAIK, 2IC (of the platoon) stays in vehicle while commander dismounts with the platoon. So, 1 of 3 vehicles has commander. If syrian platoon in the game had separate 2-man HQ team, like in CM:Afganistan, it would be better.

As for spotting, blue vehicles are overmodeled just a little, IMHO. May be that Hummvee knew about BMP? Did someone spot it?

P.S. Is it possible to disable ATGM reloading on the BMP's if the enemy is closer than 300 meters? Gunner is killed in 90%.

Except for the units equipped with the LRAS. They are as blind as your BMP! :P

EDIT: Are you using a target arc? With only two pairs of eyeballs in the BMP, perhaps giving the crew "direction" on where to spot helps more than in vehicles with more crew and/or better optics.

I thought that target arc only tells units where they can shoot, without actually improving their spotting ability...
