blindseye
I am trying to initiate an IP game with a friend, both of us have ADSL and it looks like we are behind proxy server, as all our IPCONFIG shows is: C:\>ipconfig Windows 2000 IP Configuration Ethernet adapter Local Area Connection: Connection-specific DNS Suffix . : biltmorecomm.com IP Address. . . . . . . . . . . . : 10.0.0.99 Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.0 Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 10.0.0.1 Is there anyway for us to establish a connection?
Schrullenhaft
You can try out this website and see what IP address it returns (the address is underneath several of the ads): http://northdelta.net/ipadd.asp Hopefully you can use the IP address that shows up here, but depending on your ISP, you still may not be able to host a TCP/IP game. In another thread someone also mentioned closing down ICQ since it may interfere somehow (during the connection process ?).
