Pre-order CMSF:Nato, saving on download ?

Hi,

I see there's a pre-order discount for CMSF:Nato - ie $25 instead of $35 for the download and boxed set.

Here's the thing though - I only want the download, I don't need a box or CD (I think I can probably manage to back it up myself etc. etc.). Is $25 still cheaper than just the download on release w/o the box mailed to me ?

Anyone know ? (I think Marines and Brits are only $25 for download anyway)

Download only will be $25 and of course you won't have to pay any shipping which you would have if you went with the $25 download and hardcopy.

You really don't get anything special other than the NATO paint job on the DVD in the jewel case, no manual. But you can get a like alot of DVD-Rs for $10 and make your on backups. I think the money saving choice is obvious.

Thanks... might as well wait until release and think of getting it then, if there's no benefit for just the download

Yup, if you don't care for the hardgoods, then there is no real need to pre-order. The main savings is if you were interested in the "download&mail" option in the first place.

Of course, you shouldn't forget to make a backup of your download and burn your own disc etc. since we do not offer "digital storage" with your download.
