~Viajero Posted August 27, 2010 Share Posted August 27, 2010 I believe I know the answer but is not immediately obvious from the available info thus I need to ask...: Are ToW 2 Kursk improvements in terms of game mechanics and features applied to ToW 1 if also installed? or are they both fully independent games? Schrullenhaft Posted August 27, 2010 Share Posted August 27, 2010 TOW 1 and the TOW 2 series are different games and do NOT affect each other in terms of 'improvements'. The TOW 1 series uses OpenGL as the graphics API, while the TOW 2 series uses DirectX. The games have different data sets and different capabilities in what is modeled.
