holden88
I can't seem to get my German units to cross over to the other side of the USA. Is this a bug or can only American units use the loop scripts? What about the naval loops?
Armuss
Land (Major Countries except USSR & China) unit loop normal in USA/Canada/Mexico, naval in special arrows: Allies/Axis.
Hubert Cater
With the v1.01 patch and for the default campaigns this should now be possible? Can you confirm which version you are playing and which campaign?
acrashb
Even in 1.01, if an enemy unit is in the landing square, the land loops won't function.
holden88
I was playing in 1.0 and could only loop once I had transported troops around Mexico and "captured" the loop destination squares. I now have the 1.01 patch so I'm not sure how this works now.
acrashb
Even in 1.01, if an enemy unit is in the landing square, the land loops won't function. Which means, in my current game, although I have overwhelming German force in the Eastern US, I can't get a darned thing through to the west to help a beleaguered Japanese landing force. Because the AI has occupied every landing square. Pfft. I get that the game is essentially over, but I want the full meal deal - crushing the last Allied forces. Hubert Cater
Hi Acrashb, If there are no landing squares available then this is unfortunately the correct behaviour. Hubert
acrashb
Thanks - I might not like the correct behaviour, but good to know it isn't a bug. I may rewind this game by about a year (I save every turn) and try it again, this time pushing amphibs through the Panama canal to work the west coast.
