Schrullenhaft
So you never reach the 3D screen to perform setup or if you do, then it locks up on you ? Do you get as far as the 2D information screens, but it never gets to the full 3D screen ? If you Alt-Tab to minimize CMSF and then re-maximize it, are you able to see the 3D screen at this point ? Do you know what video card/chip and video drivers that you have installed ? I haven't heard of this particular problem with CMSF, but perhaps the drivers you have installed are running into a particular issue with CMSF that others aren't commonly experiencing.
GonzoAttacker
Cannot get to 3d screen hidden behind 2d screen. ALT/Tab gets me away from 2d screen but then set up screen is blank and user interface is blank. Cursor tracks on screen but pointers show up all over screen wherever i go. i can hit start move button and turn is played out, But still have Black 3d screen and no interface, Will go check but I believe Intel shared graphics on this computer, I hate vista cannot wait til i get my CPU back....

Schrullenhaft
I don't know if this will help, but there are newer Intel drivers for your G965: Intel G965 Windows Vista 32-bit, version 15.11.5.1624, dated 1/7/2009 Possibly installing these may help. Intel doesn't really do a good job of supporting OpenGL for gaming, but it should work.
