Schrullenhaft
goforthj1 - are you attempting to play CMSF or one of the earlier Combat Mission games (CMBO, CMBB or CMAK) ? If you're attempting to play CMSF, then you will need a new video card, assuming you're not attempting to play with a laptop. If you're playing with a laptop, then that laptop will not work with CMSF. The Rage 128 Pro Ultra GL is quite old (pre-Radeon) and probably has little-to-no OpenGL support, which is what is needed for CMSF. The earlier CMx1 games use DirectX and most of them should work with that card (though possibly not to the best level). If you're playing on a desktop, it sounds like you'll need to purchase an AGP video card, which is getting a bit hard to find as a new purchase nowadays. Most new offerings are PCI Express, which is a completely different bus that will not work with your motherboard (considering the age of a Rage 128 series video card - assuming it is AGP). If you can give us some specifications on your system or send us a 'dxdiag file' we may be able to make some recommendations. To generate a dxdiag file to to the Start Menu > Run command > type in (without quotes) "dxdiag" and click 'OK'. This will launch the DirectX Diagnostic. Once it has finished loading click on the 'Save All Information' button and save the file somewhere where you can find it. We don't need all the contents of the file, but you can paste the text in a reply here and then find out what you have and what you might be able to upgrade to.
