Help saving

Sorry if this is an old problem I tried to look all over forum and saw no posts on this issue.

Anyway, havent played SC2 for while but my son started to get interested in WW2 so thought it would be fun to play hotseat with him. The problem is we are unable to save any of our multiplayer games. I saw a thread that said with vista it may save some where else but mine doesnt save at all. It even causes the autosave to "file error". Right now on my laptop I have Vista, SC2 version 1.8.

I have tried to download patch 1.9 but after it all runs and tries to launch it gives me this error--"This application has failed to start because elicen40.dll was not found. Re installing the application may fix this problem."

So I cant save any games and I cant undate patch version. Please help. aAnd thank you for any assistance. And my son says thanks also.LOL

Are you running the game with the Right-click->Properties option "Run as admin" set? If not, please try that, it should solve the save issue.

Not sure where this is. But I can save during a single player game. Just not multi player game. BTW thanks for atleast replying.

Try right clicking on the Desktop icon created to launch the game. From there you should see the option to 'Run As Administrator'. Let us know if that helps.
