JFWC
Any help on why tracked vehicles will not drive directly over any wall? They always drive to an opening. JFWC
Thomm
This is a design decision. Vehicles simply cannot cross or break through walls in CM:SF. Best regards, Thomm PS: My personal opinion is that this is a good solution to give the scenario some control over where vehicles are allowed to go.
Sixxkiller
I would guess its because the collision code cant be worked around as easily as it is to say that. I would venture a guess that if that was to work it would break something else, like all vehicles going through walls. I guess Stevie G can answer it better than me and tell me I am wrong.
c3k
However, be aware that vehicles can squeeze through gaps between buildings and walls which are visually FAR too narrow for the vehicle. I'm not sure how small it can be, but I've seen British Warrior IFV's get through gaps approximately 4' wide (obviously a rough estimate). Then it's hell getting them out of the walled in area back through the gap. The best way to do this is place a destination waypoint in a nearly enclosed courtyard. Let the TacAI get the vehicle there. Ken
