noxnoctum Posted December 10, 2009 Share Posted December 10, 2009 I'm playing an operation right now (against a human opponent) where I have a large mass of infantry to cross an open area against prepared positions with no arty support (just a couple 82mm mortars) and a few t-70s. When you run out of smoke, have half your guys go to ground and provide covering fire while the other half run a short distance like stripe-assed apes. Then reverse the roles. Or you could start out moving in bounds like I describe and save the smoke until you are within one or two bounds distance of the enemy and run all your guys at once onto the objective.
