costard
Very good. Or even "some Island", and "that other island", near Perth? Rottnest, where the quokkas abound? Lovely place to go for a ride and a swim. No place for feral kiwis.

SSgt Viljuri
What comes to the remote islands and movie sets, supervision and tutelage of the United Nations is often the best solution instead of ending dependency's statehood altogether.

They can explain all about depletion allowances, which permit you to amass great sums of money without actually producing anything. Is this a great country or what? Most of the farmers in the European Union have been doing that for decades. Or the opposite: producing heaps of something that nobody wants and then getting it bought off you for a guaranteed price.
REVS
This has potential. India, Pakistan and Bangladesh to reunite as one country, admit the partition in 47 was a Brit boo boo (I blame Mounbatten!). Should work seamlessly. And Iran and Iraq. Everyone else confuses their names anyway, so with a name change to Iranq another smooth amalgamation should be achieved. Israel won't mind. But as for Australia and En Zed, that's preposterous nonsense! But I would be willing to sell Tassie to the Kiwis for the right price. That's a goer.
