LampCord
Does the SC2 series have the ability to save map views you visit often? If not, I find this a very useful tool. What I mean by this is when you're looking at the map, say in China, you can type CTRL-1. Then whenever you hit 1, it will pop you to this view. So in world game as Allies you might have: China - 1, UK and North Sea area - 2, North Africa - 3, Russian Front 4, West Coast - 5, etc. The point is, wherever the 'action' currently is, you can save that spot and get to it quickly without having to go to the global map. This allows you to quickly pop around the map to all of the places you tend to go every turn. Its also really nice at the end of your turn to quickly pop around the map and make sure you've moved everything.
Gorgin
You can get the same result by clicking on the desired area in the small map at the bottom of the screen
Bill101
If you click on the major powers flag icons on the right hand side of the screen (where their MPPs are listed) then it will take you to their capitals. I find this a pretty quick and easy way of moving around the map.
LampCord
I guess I'm just a KB shortcut guy. I know I can click on the strategic map icon to bring it up but prefer CTRL-M. So why did they put that in?
