All was ok before installing a samsung DVD drive , and Real Magic mpeg card System: Intel 700 PIII Brilliant I 6I440BX m/board Diamond Viper 770 ultra SBLive! Hayes Accura modem Generic network card Epson 870 photo LS120 on pass through to printer MS wheel mouse Win 98 1st edition + patches CM 1.05 I don't always power up the printer, but everything else is live. All drivers are the latest from the various makers. Schrullenhaft Posted September 25, 2000 Share Posted September 25, 2000 It sounds annoying, but maybe you should remove the Real Magic MPEG card and see if this affects your video. I don't know if the RealMagic is using busmastering on the PCI that is somehow interfering with your video card (an AGP). The DVD drive itself I wouldn't believe would be affecting your display (unless your power supply is max'd out for wattage comsumption).
