SlapHappy
Just got through running some tests with some heavy weapons placed in sandbagged trenches. I've noticed for some time that weapons crews like to squirm around on top of each other like hyperactive 6 year olds. It seems to happen when even minor changes are made to the weapon facing by the TAC-AI. Is this a side effect of spotting? It absolutely kills the weapon ROF when the pixel soldiers start doing this. It's usually accompanied by this weird tendency for the gun to start doing 360 degree spins. I'm sure some of you have noticed this. Steve, what causes this and can it be eliminated?
GSX
I had a silly one with a Brit Javelin Squad. I'd split the Squads up and put one in each of two Landrovers. I then moved one Landrover about 10 meters or so past the front of athe other. The Javelin crews went mentol. One of the blokes who was sitting in the back started to move from front to back in the Landie still sitting, one minute he was in the back, the next, sitting on the bonnet. As the other Landie approched he got faster and faster. Then both Javelin teams dissapeared but the symbol remained about half way inbetween the two landies. Then the Javelins boys both re-appeared about 200 meters apart. Somehow they both recombined as the landrovers passed by each other. Weird stuff that and I wish I'd taken a screenshot. However, Ive had your problem in almost every game I have deployed a heavy weapon with the spinning MG about 1.2 the time.
