benpark Posted August 6, 2009 Share Posted August 6, 2009 I'm headed to Berlin for a week, and was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for good places to eat and off the beaten path locations they like. Other than the obvious tourist landmarks, I'm planning on going to Teufelsberg for a day and may try to get out to Seelow . Field Marshal Blücher Posted August 6, 2009 Share Posted August 6, 2009 Depending on how much you're interested in the contents of the museums on the Museumsinsel, you might end up spending more than a day there. Just going through the main exhibit in the Deutsches Historisches Museum took me over 3 hours. I've been living in Berlin for four months now, but I mostly cook for myself, so I sadly don't really have any specific recommendations to make.
