What OS version are you running OS 9.x or Windows 98, 2000, etc. ? What video card and sound card do you have (these questions pertain mostly to a PC) ? If it is a Mac what model do you have ? If you have a PC what video and sound drivers do you have installed (their versions) ? Do you have any other programs running in the background ? Have you tried to play with sound off (Alt-S) or disabling the ambient sound (also Alt-S) ? Michlos Posted July 15, 2001 Share Posted July 15, 2001 Does the whole computer freeze up or just CM? Can you Ctrl+Alt+Del out of the program or do you have to reset the computer? I agree that we do need more info to be able to help you... although I have to say that it sounds like a soundcard conflict.. possibly with another program that runs in the background.
