When playing my screen locks up every 15 minutes and I have to restart.The sound stays on a note and repeats..the screen freezez in place. Can u help? :mad:

I have for the past 30 years avidly played wargames...from the Avalon Hill early days to minatures...I have all the CC games....was one of the first to get Across the Rhine (?)..and have evry strategy type wargame for the PC every thought up....... NOTHING ...I repeat NOTHING comes close to this magnificent effort....... Recent completed a game 'Sherbrook'(the push up from Juno to CAEN) with the Canadians up against an SS Div (or part )...what an unbelievable battle....left my troops in pace much as they were set up...held their ground until my right flank crumbled....4 PZIV.....closely followed by crack ground troops took out a company with small mechanized support......suddenly Reenforcements arrive ..and the battle really begins....breathtaking...... ------------------ My times are in your hands..deliver me from my enemies

While waiting for the wonderful package to arrive...play as allied and crank the Axis to 100%...it will take you to the limit. Took the right flank ...the village...until two Panthers showed up with troops and took the village back...what a fight!!! what AI what an amazing game!!!

Having lived under a 'socialist' government let me offer a perspective.In todays world the word 'communism' and that which it portrays , namly 'dictatorship...is softend by the description of 'socialism' which carries with it a softer sound. Let me quote a few of the strategy items quoted by Cleon Skousen,Field Director of the American Security Council..from a document he had obtained a) Do away with loyalty oaths get control of newspapers c) Destroy the identity and culture of the nation d)Break down cultural standards e)Eliminate prayer and religious expression from schools f)Transfer power to government agencies ...written in and around 1960 Communism is a political,philosophical and quasi religious glue that motivates the fanatic ...socialism was intended as an economic strategy to benefit the masses.... the two are in tandem...but we should not be deceived by the softer sound.....the bitter, strident and compelling horror of communism is never far behind "The enemy advances..we retreat..the enemy tires we attack' Mao Tse Tung ------------------

Affirmative to that! Have been a wargamer for over 30 years....have almost everything thats come out...nothing like this! Playing the game brings a sense of deep satisfaction that at long last...this is the experience for which we have searched. You deserve prosperity for your efforts

Went to Normandy last month..hired a car and went by the map ....back roads ...to God ,Sword,Juno ,Omaha,Utah ..... Spent the night at a little hotel at St mere Eglise...did the museum , Abbey etc ....wonderful. The museum at Caen is worth a visit as is the American cemetary at Omaha. The most enjoyable 4 days I can remember

To the new guy, listen to me....run while you have a chance.these men are nuts! As a former Army chaplain..I have been reading these boards ..several times day ..partly out of desperation waitng for the game, but also out of fascination, wondering if it is my duty to have these men certified as PTS sufferers.Suddenly I find that their bizarre ramblings start to make sense and you become hooked ..your sleep and social life suffers.You find yourself playing the same three demos over and over again.You stop eating and ignore your family.Its a plot.... run while you have a chance!! 'The greatest casualty of war is truth!

As a former Army Chaplain..I have come to the conclusion you guys are scary..in desperate need of counseling.I will appeal to the HQ that the only solution is the qucik and urgent release of game.....to avoid what could be a major international incident.I would suggest those close to you lock up the guns and hide the keys to any vehicles....drink lots of water!!!!
