However, due to a number of factors (P200, 3-button joystick, 33.6 Winmodem, plus I suck) I rarely play MMP. I do have most of the FM, DM, and graphics add ons, which add tremendously to the game. IMO, anyone who plays RB3D without any of these enhancements is really missing out. Do you lurk over at Delphi's Flight Sim forum? Actually, I haven't had a lot of time for RB3D lately (too much CM) However, once I get a Duron and a new Asus A7V in a few months, I plan to revisit RB just to look at the pretty scenery with everything maxed out. I'm also looking forward to B17-II. Hmmm, I haven't updated my V3 drivers to 1.05 yet. You might try setting Z-Buffer Optimization to disabled and see how that works. etsjcp Posted July 10, 2000 Share Posted July 10, 2000 To follow on my previous post: I tried bumping my card's '3D Turbo Gauge' back up to 5, and I had crashing probs. Next, I'll try enabling fog, and keeping the Gauge set to 4..... I was able to finish my 1st CM scenario, the house-to-house fighting one, to an eventual draw. nick Posted July 11, 2000 Share Posted July 11, 2000 etsjcp: I too have a TNT2 Ultra 32mb based card though it's an Elsa one not a Diamond. I found that the nVidia reference drivers DID cause CM to lock up whereas the Elsa ones didn't. I know that a lot of work has been done but I barely find the time to fly MMP or wrestle with CM to load up and play a SP campaign. When/if you start playing MMP look for J37KardinalFang. I don't fly as often as I used to but I'm still around. Failing that look for anyone with a J37 in front of their name be careful though they're an odd bunch. In regard to CM I played a coupl eof turns of a medium sized scenario last night and things seemed okay. I might try bumping up the resolution to 800x600 but I'm afraid to mess with it since it seems to be working now.
