John Kettler
Stumbled across it and thought some of you would like to know. So far, they're showing both period footage and some of the little changed villages on the approaches today. Regards, John Kettler
John Kettler
Far better than I dared hope! Discussed the battle in context, key terrain, sewer movement, special hazards of MOUT, great demo of snipers in action, tank descents, Russian artillery in direct and indirect fire, Katyushas, even aerosan footage! Glad I DVRed this one. Regards, John Kettler
Malaspina
John Kettler, thanks. You're such a wealth of information! Have you ever visited mvgroup.(something?)? Lots of WWII documentaries there.
John Kettler
Malaspina, First of all, welcome aboard! Am glad you find my input helpful, but am unfamiliar with the source you mention. BTW, we have some terrific Stalingrad threads in this forum, wonderful pics and commentary by Stalingrad experts--assuming, of course, they survived the great server and board migration!
