It is fun single player as well and quite challenging, but we have continued to get a lot of PBEM replay value out of it. It pits two roughly equal sized groups against each other. I wanted to play around with a "green" group of inexperienced but well armed Marines vs. a group of highly trained,well armed Syrians to add a bit of challenge. If you played my scenario, Siege of Latakia V2, the story continues. In this scenario the remnants of A Co. have been staffed with new recruits after the ambush outside Latakia that killed and wounded many of their fellow soldiers. Synopsis: A platoon of inexperienced Marines must lend support to a recon probe when the probes search for suspected radioactive materials goes bad. Unknown to them their first days in country will test their abilities as a highly trained force attempts to counter their search of the warehouse.
