Undoing 'acquire' mistakes??

For example, you get your Syrian recon team to pick up a load of missiles when they don't have a launcher, or in Marines you get an assault squad to pick up javelins from an AAV without realizing the buggers don't have a CLU (no pun intended).

So now you have your men lugging around missiles that they cannot use and can't transfer to other units. It is such a realism breaker: what unit in RL would waste their energy in this way?

Is there no way round this problem?:confused:

A good thing would be a "drop" order when you are in a vehicle.

I agree that would be very handy. I had a squad pickup a Javelin along with CLU and then when the threat had been taken care of, I wanted to be able to drop things back off in the Stryker, and as near as I can tell there is no way to do that.

And have a way to pass ammo between teams. Something like "Acquire", who activate only when squads are in the same spots. The acquiring team will then pick up objects from the other team's inventory.

I love that idea - that means your command squad/spare teams could deliver ammo to the shooters without having to pull back. I for one would use my RPG's a lot more with that function!
