Only for my battlefront games I made an extra xp boot device to play the games with higher fps. I tested a lot and with xp the games run (in my opinion) a lot better. Try it out otherwise keep your good old xp and make a second boot device too. To put it bluntly I like vista very much and I have no problems with new games Battlefront games are in the transition period from xp to vista.
