Wengart
I am currently constructing a map and I was wondering if Strykers have IR sights that allow them to see through smoke, and does Red Smoke from their artillery block IR sights? Thanks for the help
Apocal
Yes red (brown?) smoke blocks IR. Yes the Strykers have an IR imager.
MikeyD
I haven't given this a test. I believe artillery smoke is hot white phospherous which would theoretically block thermal viewing through it. White 'popped' HC smoke can be viewed through, brown can't. Syrian black 'popped' smoke seems to be partially effective. You see Red artillery smoke so rarely its hard to judge.
Wengart
I was just wondering im having a syrian Infantry platoon leave a forest and rush across an open field and well without IR blocking smoke the strykers are just gonna tear them to shreds. Ill go ahead and test it out and see if it works.
