Sazerac
I have just found Theatre of war and I couldnt be happier. This type of game has been missing from my regular play ever since Close Combat series. A Bridge To Far, The Russian Front, Battle Of the Bulge, Invasion of Normandy. Thank you for making the game

xmifi
I don't quite agree with you that this is the close set you can get to close combat. In fact you may try Combat mission shock force. It's the game which comes close set to CC,
Husse
Ahh...Close Combat. Spent countless hours with those games. Absolutely groundbreaking.

SlapHappy
Still milking that cash cow..... Or you could just find a good used copy of CC5 and download all the FREE mods that allow you to play many theaters...including this one..... Instead of paying $39.95 for what is essentially a mod. Sneaksie
I think people buy these re-releases for a price of full-blown game because they think this will help development of really new CC games. There is no other reason for fans to do this. But if people just buy these re-releases, why bother and make a really new game?
Knokke
That's where Theater of War is filling the gap. Though I would have wished that the campaigns would have been more like CC in Theater of war.
