mash3d
Hi, Just in case anyone else runs across this. When I first installed and ran TOW in Vista 64 ultimate, running as an administrator on both the install and running the game. I wasn't able to create a new Profile using the profile tab or Single player tab. I was able to create one when I clicked on the Options tab though. But I still cannot create another new profile using the profile tab. I'm Using the 1.2.0.46 version. Just thought that might help someone. Thanks, Michael
Sneaksie
Do you use 'Run as Administrator' context menu option (right-click game executable) to run the game? It's not quite the same as log in using Administrator account.
WarDogz
how'd you get the game to run? I've tried everything that BF suggests and game still won't run
Moon
I wish Microsoft would document the User Access Control "feature" better. You need to run TOW (and TOW2) with full admin rights, which means in addition to logging into your PC with an admin account, also right-clicking and selecting "run as admin" from the drop down menu. In some case you may even need to do more (such as adjusting your DEP settings). You can always submit a ticket at www.battlefront.com/helpdesk and we can help figuring out how to undo some of Microsoft's "features" :-)
