FragerZ
So let's hope this is the best forum for this post. I have a new computer, and it won't run combat mission. whenever I open it, the screen goes black, the music starts to play, and it stays black. I can click buttons (when i click around the screen looking for them), at which point, after I blindly click on the exit button, the screen briefly flashes up. 9950 phenom BE 2 4850's (crossfire) 790FX chipset gigabyte motherboard 2 22'' monitors (but i tried the game using one > ) I built my rig to play games like Crysis and supreme commander, but I'd never leave the classic combat mission behind.
Moon
Have you already tried the Troubleshooting Guide? www.battlefront.com/faq Specifically: http://www.battlefront.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=522&Itemid=30
FragerZ
that second link seems to be more like my problem than any of the other ones -- but I don't have shock force, so what files would I try to remove from CMAK and CMBB?
Moon
Oops, sorry... here are the links to the CMAK Troubleshooting Guide and to your problem specifically: CMAK Guide: http://www.battlefront.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=category§ionid=3&id=190&Itemid=30 Your problem (there is a similar entry for ATI, too): http://www.battlefront.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=570&Itemid=30
FragerZ
oh wow, i skimmed through the list of CMAK problems and didn't see this one, despite it being mentioned twice -- silly me, i'll try it and get back to you. Also, when I disable full screen anti-aliasing, will it only disable it for windows, or will it also disable it for CMAK, and the other games I play?

I'm not 100% sure for ATI, but you can probably choose for which program/game you disable certain features.
