Andy186
I have played the game out of the box for some weeks now and have now found this forum. Coming across the 'Russian Training Exercises' I have downloaded them with the hope of getting a better appreciation of how to play the game. However I am not sure what to do with the downloaded files so they can be loaded as battle scenarios, no doubt there is a FAQ page somewhere that will answer this dumb question but I have not found it.
stikkypixie
You probably have to put them in the folder called "scenarios" which is in the folder where you installed the game.

John Kettler
Andy186 and PastorBach, Welcome aboard! They do indeed go into the folder called Scenarios, and provided they were first unzipped should be readable, therefore display and be selectable in game. If that doesn't solve your problem, please go to our Tech Support Forum here. Be prepared to provide full technical details on your rig, motherboard, graphic card, OS, etc. http://www.battlefront.com/community/forumdisplay.php?f=36 PastorBach, You are way behind on your game version, as shown in this ReadMe excerpt. CMBB Patch Version 1.03 May 15, 2003 ------------------------------------------------------------------- Readme INDEX: > Important Patch Version Note > What Version of CMBB Do I Have? > Version Compatibility Note > In Progress PBEM Procedure > v1.03 Patch Changes > Patch History > Manual Errata > Troubleshooting Guide IMPORTANT PATCH VERSION NOTE * This v1.03 patch must be applied to a copy of the game that has ALREADY been patched to v1.02. It will not work on v1.0 or v1.01. Please review the "WHAT VERSION OF CMBB DO I HAVE" section below to see what game version you currently have installed. WHAT VERSION OF CMBB DO I HAVE? * You can check the version number by running the game and looking at the lower right corner of the Main Menu screen. The current version is listed there. It occurs to me that the Russian Training Scenarios came out several, maybe even all the patches after your game version, hence may be incompatible, therefore aren't displaying. JasonC, who wrote them, can tell you what version they are. In any event, you need to install the successive patches one after another soonest, because they radically affect all kinds of things. Where did you get a version 1.0 anyway? Andy186, I suspect you have 1.03, but please check. Patch successively through 1.03 if you somehow don't. MeatEtr
Just posted this in another thread, think it might help these two in here. Get the CMBB patches here or over here.

John Kettler
PastorBach, Glad you got it sorted out and can now play the full up game! I think you'll find the Russian Training Scenarios to be quite challenging. Andy186, Did you get your problems sorted out?
