Schrullenhaft
Does this occur only with Quick battles or does it happen in scenarios too ? Though I don't know if this will help with this particular issue or not, go to the Control Panel > Nvidia control panel > Manage 3D Settings > in here make sure that "Threaded Optimization" is turned OFF, "Extension Limit" is OFF, and "Triple Buffering" is ON (if you don't have these settings already). I'm not sure how necessary this is now, but one other thing to try is to set the Processor Affinity so that only one CPU is running CMSF. Launch CMSF and then Alt-Tab out of it back to the desktop. Ctrl-Alt-Del to bring up the Task Manager and go to the Processes tab, highlight the "CM Shock Force..." entry in the Processes list and right-click on it. Go to the "Set Affinity..." menu item and in here un-select one of the CPUs listed. These settings basically help (a bit) with performance, but they may also make your game more stable (as a possibility). There's also the possibility that your videocard is overheating. Addressing that issue is a bit more complicated. There are utilities out there that will increase the speed of the GPU fan, which will make your computer noisier, but potentially cool the videocard better. I believe RivaTuner 2.09 would work in this situation.
purpheart23
I'll give that a try and thanks for your response Schrullenhaft, wish me luck.
purpheart23
Yeah I guess I should've been more complete, it happens during scenarios, wether they shipped with the game or user made. I'm gonna give it a run through with the settings you gave me and will post my findings asap. Once again, thanks for your help. Much appreciated.
