TTate
A request to the field on recommendations regarding the purchase of a new system. I am an avowed Mac fan so lean heavily that direction but am concerned over the ability of the new G4s or iMacs to handle CM and other graphic intensive games. Likewise, I see enough posts on PC graphics problems to make me cautious in that arena as well. I'd appreciate recommendations for an appropriate gaming system; eg, processor type / speed, graphics card, OS. Thanks. T Tate
Guest Rob/1
I have a G3 and it looks great! Rob ------------------ Check out my CM web page! members.home.net/rwdisney/Combat1/Combat1.html
Pvt. Ryan
I am a PC person, so I don't know about Macs, but I had a similar question recently. Here is the thread: http://www.battlefront.com/discuss/Forum8/HTML/000413.html I love my system and have no problems running CM right out of the box.
MacInLew
It is hard for me to imagine BTS not upgrading their software to work with any Mac you might buy before CM2. I would go with the low end single processor G4 with as much memory and hard disk space as you can afford, a Radeon video card and the nicest monitor you can afford.
Guest Michael emrys
Question MacInLew: What is it you like about the Radeon card? I am presently contemplating getting a VooDoo 5 but would reconsider if there is something better out there. Michael
Baboon2
CM works great on the Voodoo 4 & 5 for the Mac. The fullscreen anti-aliasing is really nice for CM. (warning: I work for 3dfx.)

Yvan
CM demo works very well on my iMac G3, 233 MHz, 32 MB RAM, ATI Rage Pro Turbo 6 MB. I just upgraded my RAM to 96 MB, which slightly improves the game.
