Parallels 3 and CMSF?

Recommended Posts

Has anyone been able to get Parallels 3 on their Intel Mac to run CMSF? I'm not much cop at tweaking Parallels myself, hence the question.

I got very excited when CMSF loaded without crashing (first game ever for me on Parallels) but unfortunately the graphics fall apart when the game has loaded to the battle screen itself. I see the background detail and the buildings, but nowt else.

Boot Camp works fine though. Boo hoo no native Mac version though. :'(

Parallels v3.x has limited 3D support (up to DirectX 8) and they've hyped it that you can now play 3D games on it. Which is a load of tosh. Fortunately I ordered my Parallels after May 1st so I got the v3 upgraded free - I would be right annoyed if I had shelled out for it independently!

edit: And a X1900 video card, maybe that does the trick?

Chipset Model: ATY,RadeonX1900

VRAM (Total): 512 MB
