iplaygames2
OK, I am assuming it's something on my end. I am up to date on drivers and more than exceed the system reqs. I d/l'd the demo and installed it no problems. I try to run the .exe and get nothing. No splash screen, no error messages...nada. XP Home Intel Core2 E6400 Dx9.0 GeForce 7950GT @ 512MB *edit* I ran the setup, switched over to run as single processor, no changes.
CBR
You have to configure it first. There is a shortcut to that in your Battlefront/Theatre of war demo folder. CBR
iplaygames2
Do you mean 'towsetup'? If so, I have run that, and that is where I opted for the single processor setting.
UTexGrad
Thanks, CBR, that worked for me. The default res was too high for my monitor so it choked.
Cameroon
iplaygames, when you ran the config app did you try telling it to auto detect? Maybe there's some setting that's screwy in the config file that'll get over written by the detection routine?
CBR
Yes I noticed it wanted to run in 1680x1050 and I have a 1600x1200 monitor so I think thats why it didnt want to start up for me right away. CBR
iplaygames2
I let it autodetect, I tried telling it what to do. Still nothing. Then I rebooted. It worked fine. Sometimes I hate technology. Thanks guys.
