whaco
Did a search and could not find anything that answers the question on whether units can run out of ammo in TOW. If units realistically can run out of ammo, what are the chances of that particular unit walking over to a KIA in his squad and grabbing his ammo, providing it's the same rounds? Flanker15
Yep there are ammo limits as shown in this picture with a Enfield rifle which has 13 times 10 shot clips in his ammo column. http://www.battlefront.com/products/tow/screenshots2/pages/ww2%202007-02-03%2015-08-30-59.html I don't know if you can pick up stuff from KIA soldiers but you might. Moon
Yes, soldiers run out of ammo and yes, they can pick up stuff from the battlefield. Walkthrough 3 to be posted soon on Tweaktown will show how this works. Martin

Sneaksie
Soldiers can scavenge for small arms and ammunition, there is a special button even for 'pick up best armament', but i don't think they can do that by themselves, you must order it.
Moon
Sneaksie, soldiers will pick up ammo and equipment on their own (when they're out of ammo for example) if near such equipment, but they will not move out on their own to find some. Common_sense22
Does this game also support a skirmish phase where you can set the parameters for the battle?
