Madmatt
As we get closer to the release date for Theatre of War many websites, magazines and online portals will be posting game previews, reviews and special features. The Armchair General website and magazine leads off with the first new game preview based on their experience with a recent beta. Steve Butts of the giant IGN web portal also got some hands on time and posted his preview comments. In addition to these Previews, a multi-part Game Walkthrough series of articles has begun. The first article covers some basic game mechanics (such as how to select and move units) while the following three articles will dig deeper into tactical problems and how to solve them using realistic WW2 tactics (and how to execute them in the game). Reichenberg
Part 3 of the walkthru is up as a doc-file under this link. This time it is about defensive action. Defender is in a trench system and attacker attacks on open field. The opposite from part 2. Uwe

John Kettler
Madmatt, The Wargamer review writer sure has a strange notion of a battalion equivalent: "ten tanks and few squads." That's not even a reinforced cross attached tank company team, at least for the Americans. The various reviews do make good reading, though. Love the tutorials!
