Arkel
Well, as far as i've seen i don't see much underbush, some screens have it, but not alot. But if we don't like it after release it's something a mapmaker can fix

WindyCity
Are woods abstract, or does a tree model represent a single count .
luckyorwhat
I agree that those pictures are poor representations of forests, but even if the game doesn't have them, it's still going to be fun. Around here forests are more like this: Some parts are too thick to walk through, while others look like that Bastogne photo.
franz
now that is what I call excellent computer graphics ! When we can have 3-D scenes like that rendered on our machines within the game, I will TRULY be satisfied.
MEYER_1944
Is it a limitation of the engine? its like two trees cannot be touching hence you get a spaced out forest... As we all know in a real forest (in the true sense of the term) trees have branches that cross with anothers and they are in some cases tightly packed together... With some of these densely wooded areas (that could sometimes block out 90+ light)e.g. Ardenne! I fail to see that if you cant see the sky looking up then how can you see the action looking down from CAM view...? You would never see what the hell is going on down there... I see how that is a point against the density of wooded areas. However you should be able to have it in the game, otherwise things look to open and woods dont look like the barrier that they sometimes are... luckyorwhat
In CM you press a button and adjust how sparse or thick trees are, or make them invisible. How they looked was just for you to click units easier, even if you turned trees off they still blocked sight lines and stuff.
