When targeting potential targets will it give a range/distance to the target? What is the maximum range(approximately) a Panzer II MG would engage an inf. unit? Would a MG 34 or 42 have a longer range compared to Bow MG? With visibility being a big factor of course. Great AAR, I'm excited about this title! Moon Posted August 3, 2006 Share Posted August 3, 2006 Yes, you can see the range to the target displayed in the interface. When you select a unit and move the mouse around, a little bar on the penetration/range table in the GUI shows you the rough distance. At the moment probably around 300-500 meters, but I am guessing without having checking in the game. I cannot comment on the ranges of those weapons (MG 34, 42 or a Bow MG) at the moment as I didn't compare. But one of the first things we'll be doing during beta testing which has just begun is to fact check all of this and tweak where needed and possible.
