OK folks, I have finished scripting and testing a comprehensive pack of Axis Sealion scripts. These scripts encompass many different situations and all phases of the game. Beware! The AI can kick England's butt now!!! :D

HIGHLIGHTS:

- A series of chances that the AI will decide to Sealion after France and before winter 1940. Also, it is set up so that the longer you hold out in France, the less the chance of an early Sealion.

- Sealions are IN FORCE and the AI will follow-up with an HQ to ensure supply.

- Script to ensure the AI clears out all resistance on England.

- The AI may Sealion if you leave too few troops to protect England.

- A small chance that at any time the AI may Sealion after Barbarossa.

- The AI WILL Sealion after Russia has surrendered.

- The AI may invade Ireland after taking England.

- Garrison scripts for England / Ireland.

- The AI will reinforce the island if the Allies mount a liberation attempt.

MY FUTURE PLANS TO ENHANCE THIS SCRIPT PACKAGE:

- Increasing AI chances of Sealion based on how well the Eastern Front is going for them, and where their positions are.

- Italian involvement in Sealion.

- Sealion feints and diversions.

- The AI following up w/ a med conquest to complete English destruction.

Feel free to use these scripts for whatever you please in any form. Please send me any suggestions, bug reports, or corrections.

To use this script set, I suggest creating an identical but custom Fall WeiB campaign, and uploading the scripts there to the plan folder. Back up your originals! Lastly, you can either just plop these scripts in at the bottom of the plan txt, or insert them into their respective catagories.

Two things I have noticed that I need to change:

Move the friendly location flag for the HQ support script over to Paris to ensure an HQ is actually picked. I just found out that with the location selected as Bordeux it sometimes doesnt pick an HQ.

Need to write a script to send the Sealion troops back to the mainland, and somehow get corps out there to garrison it. No sense in having armies and tanks do that.

Other scripts I am working on right now:

An Axis Scandinavia script pack for all of the various situations they may encounter up there.

A med script pack that includes variable Axis methods of invading middle east.

A Balkans invasion set of scripts.

I am trying to make these all so that they can be put into the same campaign and be compatible to make one grand Axis AI script. It's rather tricky with the FLAGs available, but I think I can do it without stretching the AIs forces too thin.

Here is a trick that I use.

1. Use the garrison script to have a unit garrison a specific tile 10% of the time. Example: XX,YY

2. If this tile is occupied Script x will execute. If another script is occupied then Scripts Y,Z will execute.

Perhaps, in a future patch HC will add support for a global variable so that production, planning, research and diplomacy scripts can be linked. :rolleyes: This means that if the global variable is X then scripts 1,2,3 will execute. If the global variable is y then scripts 4,5,6 will execute.

Note On Cancelation Scripts:

2nd Line - canceled if Allies reinforce England

[0,6] means that the AI will randomly select a distance of 0 (min dist) to 6 (max dist) tiles. To have the script always evaluate on a distance of 6 tiles you need to set it at [6,6]
