SgtMuhammed
Just had an incident while clearing buildings in the factory attack. I ordered two squads to attack a section of the building. They entered ok and then got stuck. Most of the soldiers were "spotting" according to the status listing but 2 in each squad were stuck "planning." Clicking on the units showed that they still had the movement line from their auto adjust or whatever that little adjustment is that they make. Any new orders were added onto this movement line and there was no way to make it go away. Looking at the squads themselves showed that most of the soldiers were standing around scanning like normal but at lest 4 were frozen in the middle of the running animation. There were also two who seemed to be frozen in some other motion. All movement orders were ignored but an order to pop smoke was followed normally. Version 1.02. I have a save and end game file if you want them. System: 3 ghz Intel Core 2 D 2 gig ram Nvidia 7600 GS 512meg Windows XP Home SP2
Other Means
I've got exactly the same issue. In fact, I think the whole re-grouping issues is handled oddly. The squad leader (me) should place the re-group order. If that's all we have available from the orders menu then fine, but it shouldn't result in squads running into the middle of the street and getting gunned down, as has happened in the past.
z1812
Hi All I have had this happen twice with Bradleys and once with a Syrian tank. They become stuck. Not so far with infantry. Regards John
SgtMuhammed
Interesting. I have yet to have a vehicle get stuck or refuse an order. All my problems seem to be with infantry.
