JSB
Yes! Will the Combat Mission Marines use "the correct method of crossing a wall" described page 160?
Nicdain
Will the Combat Mission Marines use "the correct method of crossing a wall" described page 160? It would be cool! And BTW, I really would like the real carries of weapons used for the different movement orders, i.e. the "alert carry" for the "hunt" movement. Or the "tactical carry" used for the "move" order. It would add much more immersion to the gameplay.
Clavicula_Nox
Pfft, City Week during Darby Phase is more instructive than their entire manual.
SlapHappy
Your Probably right. What I really dig about these kinds of documents are the hokey line drawing illustrations. Where exactly does one go to become a line drawing artist?
Clavicula_Nox
I don't know, but I'm sure the artists are either the author, or the author's assigned lackey.
the Fighting Seabee
The military has a tendency to photocopy photocopies of photocopies of training manuals. I've received some that were copied so many times that I couldn't even make out what the line drawing was supposed to be. But I think that is the main reason they use simple black and white line drawings; regular photos or more detailed drawings wouldn't survive many copies.
