LOS/LOF through walls in 1.03

...seems to be still an issue in 1.03!? I would think that those grunts in the house on ground floor level should not be able to see and hit somebody crawling close behind the wall?

The unit may not have LOS on the enemy, but the 5.56 bullets from the shooting can for sure penetrate the wall.

It is not completely fixed, but it already significantly better than the previous releases.

I agree that it has improved quite a bit. Now the major problem is figuring out when it works and when it doesn't. I have found it unpredictable.

If building walls count, here's something I saw when testing how Blast command works in 1.03.

First I used Blast - it broke one wall of the building.

Then I think tried if I can shoot inside the building. LOF to the center of this building.

Then I tried if the soldiers would also move inside from the blasted wall - but accidentally the waypoint went BEHIND the building. So instead of entering the building the soldiers ran behind the building and LOF was still there.

And because of this they also fired their weapons and threw hand grenades.

There was no enemy inside so I couldn't tell if any damage was done inside the building.

keeping the LOS problems consolidated helps us track down the bugs. By scattering the threads you make the likehood of your problem going unnoticed higher.

Help out the testers and we can make the reports for BFC.
