Strykers on Mail Call now 12a.m.PDTSat. H Ch. U.S.

Recommended Posts

Strykers with and without slat armor were shown, with major footage being devoted to Scouts conducting contact drills. Thought it was rigged in that the "insurgents" were wearing nearly white desert type clothing while attacking from grassy verges and woods. Worked okay, though, once in the mocked up urban area. The one R. Lee rode had the LRAS fitted, but that prominent piece of gear had no discussion whatsoever. Counter IED gear was neither shown fitted nor discussed.

There was also an extended piece of the Lima plant which not only built (no new production) but now zero times, rebuilds and upgrades all three M1 models, but has also gone into doing much the same thing for Strykers

and will be eventually handling the Marine Expeditionary Vehicle, too. BTW, the M1 in its various incarnations is scheduled to remain in service through 2030.

Steve,

Too funny!

My father, now retired, was a/the key technical guy on the TWS and was responsible for creating the production version back when the program was still at Hughes Electro-Optical & Data Systems Group. As you might imagine, heat dissipation was an issue, and he found these, becoming so enthusiastic about them that he kept a handful at the house and would show them to anyone he could corner. Since you brought up heat sinks, try these:
