This time the fighting won't take place in Syrian desert ghettoes but in the frosty forests of Finland. The new Combat Mission: Swift Offensive Detachment - Operation Finnish Freedom brings you right into middle of the most interesting part of the Winter War, as as the commander of an elite Ukrainian task force belonging to the 163rd Rifle Division you will parade your way right through the centre of Finland via Suomussalmi to the west coast. To make things interesting, you are also expected to gather from villages any Civil Guards or other enemies of the proletariat and send them to the GuLAG. All the interesting military technology will be simulated accurately, such as the differences between bayonets m/1893 and m/1908. Also the two MG turrets on T-26m1931 rotate independently! It takes a true hero to have a leak at - 50 degrees of centigrade, not to mention other bodily functions.
