GWDWD Posted November 13, 2003 Share Posted November 13, 2003 Recently reformatted my HDD and reinstalled everything, including CMBB and the patches. For some reason there is no preferences file in my CMBB directory so... you guessed it, I have to reset my preferences every time I open the game. Not a big deal, but slightly annoying. Everything else seems to be working perfectly, and I don't remember any problems with the reinstall. So... will I be doing it over again or does anyone have a plan B? Schrullenhaft Posted November 13, 2003 Share Posted November 13, 2003 The Prefs file is created when you properly exit out of CM (allowing it to write out the file). So if you select a resolution the next time and then exit out (Alt-Q in a game or pressing the 'Exit' button), the file should be written out and you won't have to select the resolution everytime (unless you're constantly tweaking around with the desktop resolution - changing it to settings lower than CM).
