Demo bombs out, everytime..

Everytime I try to play the demo it bombs out to desktop on *ALL 5* of the machines here.

Whats the problem? I was going to order the game, but if this is an indicator of the lack of quality programming in it, forget it!

System Specs:

Intel P4 3.6Ghz

1024MB PC3200 CL2

6800Ultra-OC Graphics

Audigy 2 Sound.

Other machines are similar except processors range from 2.6-3.4..

Whats going on with this? The really descriptive error that pops up is:

0000: Error:

Unknown error

Nice!

Worse, now that i've uninstalled this "Debacle", it creates a bunch of 'Read only' directories and files.

Not only is your installer garbage, but assuming people want read-only crap on their HD AFTER uninstall is prett presumptuous.

You need both the Divx Video Codec and DirectX 9.0c. Check you video drivers first, and update them if new versions exist, before installing the Codec and DirectX.

I have the demo installed, so far everythings seems fine.

System

P4 3 Ghz

512 MB Ram

FX5200 Video 128MB

Sound Blaster Plus

Win XP Pro

I have all Codecs installed via K-Lite Mega pack. I also have DX9c obviously. All drivers, bios, and firmware on all PC's is completely up to date.

I also tried the "no video" run option, to no avail.

Any other ideas?

Yes I do, and i'm not turning it off for a demo, considering the 200 other programs installed have no issues.
