Even unearthed an American ace on par with Bong, but did it flying for the British and got dropped through the cracks! I believe you'll find the dogfight by the female Russian fighters in brand new Lend Lease Spits engrossing, the Kozhedub bio worthwhile, the Pokryshkin bio and discussion of Russian fighter tactics amazing, and that's not counting the incredible book on Soviet fighter and ground attack aces and the oh so ripe for scenario development account of airpower in the Khalkin Gol clash before the war.
