Fred19
There's also a big difference between dogfights and escort missions (at least that's what I feel): Did a few escorts today and it is almost impossible to get even "expected results" only. While there's a good chance to win a dogfight mission, the 4 interceptors mostly only leave smoking heaps of metal from my planes.
Segador
Hi all, I are new in this forum and the game as well and dont have too much experience. I where thinking the same about the computer taking always the cards they need when I found this topic. I want to ask if this game depends only to have luck, because if this is the thing I dont play again. To play only a luck game I dont spend time or money, I play with my brother even or odds. No strategy or tactical play in this game. Very disappoint.
Guest Mike
There's an element of luck - but then you have to play your hand properly.......there's a lot more to it than _just_ luck
Sixxkiller
Hi welcome to the forum. Sure theres quite a bit of luck involved, but just like poker, a lot of the luck depends on the skill of handling the cards. I think maybe you should play someone who has been around a while. When you get beat 8 out of 10 games, that isnt all luck my friend. And this game is fire and movement which is very tactical at its core. Maybe you should waste a little more time and play some more before you write this game off. -Ray Originally posted by Segador: Hi all, I are new in this forum and the game as well and dont have too much experience. Dan Verssen
One idea that has worked well in the past is to go to the lobby and ask to play a 'training' game with an experienced player. During the game, ask them for tips on what you should do, and they will tell you why they are doing things based on their cards and the situation. Like any card game, there is some luck involved, but the better player will win most of the time.
Mistura
Segador: There is a LOT of tactic's, and strategy in this game. From playing the campaigns to playing bots or a real player. There is a little luck involved, but I promise you that (ALL CARDS) being equal. The better player WILL beat you. Mistura
Grasshopper Lakespeed: I have failed to win 1 of 3 tournaments. There were 32 players in that one. I lost in the finals to Cethegus. I will sit on the mountain to give the ZEN of DIF to any Grasshopper who is wise enough to climb that mountain. P.S. If you find the mountain I'm on let me know the name of it because I didn't bring a map. tornado
Oh Great One (aka Mistura) I am most concerned for your safety. In light of your recent comments, I fear that your head has become so inflated that you are in danger of floating through the stratosphere.
