Austin
I know this game is about aerial combat and escort missions and whatnot. A large part of the Pacific Campaign was fought plane to plane and plane to ship. Will naval units or other non-aerial targets be part of the game? Ex. American Player needs to attack Japanese base, fight way through aircraft, be exposed to ground, make attack and then escape or some such.
Sixxkiller
Austin, I suspect you need to play the demo version. I think the full version does this in the abstract in the escort missions where if you escourt the bombers they take out the ships and what not. This is an aircombat simulation I for one dont see the need to shoot buildings after a hard battle with the Tonys and whatnot.
Moon
Austin, in short: yes. The idea of Down in Flames is to keep adding new materials/game types/targets/nations/planes etc. as time goes on. Some (most) will be free like the upcoming Wildcat aircraft or the new Malta campaign. Some will be released as paid add-ons (e.g. new nations like France and Russia). Adding ground targets is actually part of the plan from what I saw when I peeked at Dan Verssen's release plan Martin
Sixxkiller
I stand corrected. And where are these magical plans located at? Think I have that Enigma machine somewhere around here.

demoss
Just curious - weren't the Italians heavily involved in the Malta campaigns?
