However if you're being assigned a non-routable IP address (for example: 192.168.x.x or 10.x.x.x, etc.), then you will not be able to host an IP game with anyone outside of your network (you may be able to hook up as a 'client' to my knowledge though). If you have a dynamically assigned IP address you can find out what it is from whatismyip.com.
