Fleeing the med theather

Investing in egypt defense is very dangerous for the british, a HQ will likely be sacrificied in delay operation. In SC2 will it be possible for the allies to evacuate the med theather (from a port in egypt and/or Iraq) back to the atlantic?

Will the Ai consider evacuating a theater if it is outgunned and faces certain destruction?

Two cases come to minde - Egypt and France. In games against the Allied AI in France although the AI units are outnumbered 3 to 1 and are steadily being push back they will continue to hold out instead of evacuating units, including HQ units back to England via Brest. This occurs even when they are reduced to 1 to 3 units around Brest.

You think Neutral activation would go up if the allies evacuate the med?

Italian activation definitly will

I thought it might be Spain as well, being that they were trying to build up there Navy.

And to my understanding the UK wanted to evacuate the med from the start but Churchill was the only one who decided to sty put. One of the reasons was to keep Spain neutural.

And natural Spain remained ... no chemicals thrown into the spanish mix at all

Neutral activation thingy is interesting though ... any thoughts of implementing something like neutrals' war readiness/join percentages, Mr. HC ? Aside from investing diplomatic chits?
